The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission on September 26, 2016 approved the toll schedule to be charged at the Scudder Falls Replacement Bridge when the first span of the new bridge opens as a tolled crossing in 2019. Tolls will be collected in the southbound direction only via an all-electronic toll (AET) system consisting of E-ZPass transponder readers and high-resolution cameras designed to capture the license plate images of vehicles without E-ZPass. The base E-ZPass passenger vehicle toll is $1.25. The passenger vehicle Toll-by-Plate toll is $2.60. An E-ZPass commuter discount is available for customers with DRJTBC-affiliated passenger vehicle transponders. To qualify for the discount -- a 75-cent toll -- an individual must record 16 or more tolled passenger-vehicle trips across Commission toll bridges using the same transponder. Higher tolls were approved for non-passenger vehicles, such as box trucks, tractor-trailers and buses. The approved schedule of tolls may be viewed in the documents section of this website under "Tolling."
